Wednesday, July 21st, 2010Comcast Monroeville SUCKS
Tuesday, May 18th, 2010Comcast Monroeville SUCKS!
How many times has my cable been out in the past month? Six time, seven counting tonight. I rarely had issues with my service in New Kensington. Monroeville service is out constantly and that is unacceptable! If anyone else can comment on this I would appreciate that. I cannot even get through to customer service to get a credit for not receiving service.
They have always been unreliable even when they were run by the previous company. WTF COMCAST! INVEST IN YOU EQUIPMENT OR CREDIT MY ACCOUNT for your poor business practices!

Change You Got It Obama-unism(Communism)
Friday, April 23rd, 2010If you voted for Obama I really hope you are reaping what you sowed! I am out of work for the first time in almost 20 years. Denied unemployment benefits that if I had received were reduced because the fund is drying up. Foreclosures have not stopped. Banks are claiming record profits after needing bailed out. Well goody for them; NOT!
My mortgage company, gone, swallowed up by one of my second least favorite criminal banking organizations Bank of America. My Providian Washington Mutual credit card was swallowed up by my least favorite criminal banking organization Chase. Why are they called Chase? They will chase you to the end of the earth to get any money they can legally or illegally out of you. I had to get government agencies involved to get a fraudulent late fee removed. All they had to do was take it off because it was their mistake but no they wanted to play hard-ass-ball with me so I said fine. I paid them off despite it causing me to fall behind on a few of my other bills. I filed a complaint with the PA State Attorney General and the FTC which were not the correct agencies but they sent my stuff to the right one.
I got several apology letters, several letters begging me not to cancel my account, etc, etc, etc. What does any of this have to do with Obama? His bailout was supposed to stop these banks from going under. Did it help, no not one bit, if anything it may have made it possible for the bigger banks to perform a hostile takeover on the smaller banks with free government money.
Thankfully some years ago some one taught me how to get out of debt! It is not as hard a quitting smoking but that cigarette money paid off a lot of my debt because $5+ a pack per day sure adds up. Have a great day and remember a good rant once in a while keeps you sane!

Kevin Smith – Cop Out Review
Thursday, March 11th, 2010Hi there,
There has been a trend lately that is quite shameful and may be due to my age. Movies that are coming out today are just not as funny as they were in the past. It seems that the sillier the comedy the less likely I am to laugh. This was far from the case with the movie “Cop Out” I have not laughed so hard at the theater in many years. Tracy Morgan and Bruce Willis along with Seann William Scott were about the best combination chemistry for a movie that I have seen in a long, long time.
The initial reviews as usual from people that fancy themselves to be the “voice of the people” were not promising and put Smiths directing at question. I must admit that the style was very different for Smith. Not the usual from his own film style of the past. Very fresh, very different comedic style.
Some of the best parts of the movie are watching Bruce Willis try not to laugh while Seann and Tracy are doing their thing. I am sure that if they put the out takes on the DVD they will be hysterically funny. For more information regarding the movie, head over to IMDB to see the trailer and plot. Hope you go see it. It deserves the support!

Google Adsense = ASSCLOWNS! I switched to Bing as my main search engine!
Monday, February 22nd, 2010I started actively pursuing my dream of an active website that makes a little bit of money from people visiting the site and clicking on a few ads. I was a member of google adsense since roughly 2007 and had never really done anything to foster any traffic to my website let alone click on any ads. Well the minute I started getting some clicks on my ads google adsense in there ignorant wisdom decided to permanently suspend my membership. They claimed that I was dangerous to their advertisers. Well, now i am because any time I see a google ad I click on all of them. They even denied my appeals after giving them what I think was a pretty solid reason to why the clicks had increased suddenly.
This brings me along to Bing. I have found everything I need using Bing’s search engine plus the mypoints search which by the way is a great way to get yourself some great gift cards if you don’t mind clicking ads and shop at their sponsored sites to accrue points.
Google is getting too big for their own good. They do not care about protecting the interests of publishers. All they care about is coveting their slice of the almighty advertising dollars floating around out there. I personally steer clear of anything I can that has anything to do with google now. As a matter of fact I will not even capitalize their name out of disrespect for them. Have a great day all and steer clear of google!

Food around the ‘Burgh, don’t take it for granted. Anywhere for that matter!
Tuesday, January 5th, 2010It is so good to be back in the city. We take so many things for granted like good ethnic food for instance. It should be appreciated always!
I was living north of Pittsburgh in a town called Tarentum. Most of you may know of Natrona Heights and New Kensington. They are bordering towns to Tarentum. There are a few good home style places. A wing place that puts the wings through a pizza oven so they taste like they were done out back on your grill. There is one Italian place that makes you think you have flown across the ocean to “the old country”. There are even some good Chinese places around the area but, the one thing that you could not find if your life depended on it was a good middle eastern or Indian restaurant. No Thai, no good delis, just your basic every day comfort foods. There were even a few really good mom and pop pizza places. Nothing in comparison to what you can find in the inner city. I have only been back in “the burbs of the Burgh” for two weeks but have visited a few old haunts and I must say they were still the same and sorely missed.
The point I am trying to make is that no matter where you go, there is going to be food you will love and food that you left behind that you will miss. Always enjoy where you are, when you are there, you will miss it if it’s gone!
Now I find that the shoe is on the other foot, I am missing the foods of the north. Guess it may be time for a road trip! Talk to yinz guys later!

Happy New Year 2010!
Friday, January 1st, 2010Wow, the year 2010! The weather was wintry here in Pittsburgh so what a great day to stay inside and watch sports all day long! The Winter Classic hockey game was a great one as usual. Watching the great coverage in HD without having to pay anything extra, priceless. Penn State won their “MUD BOWL” game. Who would have thought that the technology to move us forward into the land of free HD would actually take us back to using the infamous “rabbit ears’.
What a great day this New Years Day was! The pork loin I cooked turned out perfect! Mom made fresh lumpy mashed potatoes, mmm, mmm. My sister and her family came over to spend the day. What could have made it any better.
I am sticking with my New Year’s Resolution from last year to not make any more New Year’s Resolutions. I will instead evaluate my life, analyze what I need to fix and set a goal to fix it. The best way to achieve a goal is to put a little pressure on yourself to get it done but not enough to feel like a failure if it does not happen immediately.
Just one more holiday to get through for a while and that is the Orthodox Christmas this January 7th.
Looking forward to the great new year of opportunities that will hopefully present themselves to all. The economy is supposed to rebound, joblessness is supposed to diminish and prosperity will once again return to our great nation. Have a Happy New Year!

Sums up life
Sunday, December 27th, 2009
Look at the photo closely! How does this sum up life you ask? Have you ever done this, walk up to a door, look straight at it and do the opposite of what it says? I have, it is an embarrassing moment indeed. We all at time look at life, know what we are supposed to do but then do the exact opposite. Then to make matters worse we blame everything or everybody but ourselves for making the mistake.
I learned a long time ago that life without a roadmap or clear set of instructions to get me from point A to point B was like walking through a minefield with a blindfold. One false step and KABOOM! Taking five minutes time out of your busy day to sit down and figure out what you need to get done that day can be a timesaver or could prevent you from having a so called disaster on your hands later in life.
Most people do not take the time to stop and think things through before they speak or act. That is why you can look at the sign on the door that says pull but yet you still give a push first. There will be more articles concerning goal setting, life planning, and just overall organizatonal tips coming in the near future. Have a great day!

Merry Christmas Everyone
Thursday, December 24th, 2009Merry Christmas! It is Christmas Eve in Pittsburgh, the weather is sunny, snow is still hanging around on the ground in hope of staying around for a white Christmas day. There are still lots of people out and about grabbing those last minute items. Just an all around beautiful day!
Thanksgiving was weeks ago but this a time of the year that we should be thankful too! If you have a roof over your head, food to eat, family around you, a job, etc. Fill in your favorite thing to be thankful for even if it is just some small insignificant item in your life. There are many around us that do not have, I know this is the first time in twenty years that I have not had a job. Yet I am still thankful! I have a few bucks to survive until I find something, food in the fridge, beer to drink and a nice warm home.
Tis the season of joy, hope and love. If you are reading this you are most likely one of the lucky ones that have what they “NEED” and maybe even a few things that you want too. Some people do not really understand the work “need.” They think need is cable TV, a cell phone, a computer, a Playstation, etc. We can stay alive without all those things. They are wants, dreams, desires, but not necessities.
If you are feeling depressed, lonely, down in the dumps this holiday season, just remember this little thought. Nothing is ever as bad as it first seems! Within every adversity is a seed of equal or greater opportunity. Look for something good in your situation. It is there, no matter what.
Merry Christmas
