The Pledge of Allegiance explained by Red Skelton

I – - Me; an individual; a committee of one.

Pledge – - Dedicate all of my worldly goods to give without self-pity.

Allegiance – - My love and my devotion.

To the Flag – - Our standard; Old Glory ; a symbol of Freedom; wherever she waves there is respect, because your loyalty has given her a dignity that shouts, Freedom is everybody’s job.

United – - That means that we have all come together.

States – - Individual communities that have united into forty-eight great states. Forty-eight individual communities with pride and dignity and purpose. All divided with imaginary boundaries, yet united to a common purpose, and that is love for country.

And to the Republic – - Republic–a state in which sovereign power is invested in representatives chosen by the people to govern. And government is the people; and it’s from the people to the leaders, not from the leaders to the people.

For which it stands

One Nation – - One Nation–meaning, so blessed by God.

Indivisible – - Incapable of being divided.

With Liberty – - Which is Freedom; the right of power to live one’s own life, without threats, fear, or some sort of retaliation.

And Justice – - The principle, or qualities, of dealing fairly with others.

For All – - For All–which means, boys and girls, it’s as much your country as it is mine.

And now, boys and girls, let me hear you recite the Pledge of Allegiance: I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic, for which it stands; one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Since I was a small boy, two states have been added to our country, and two words have been added to the Pledge of Allegiance: Under God. Wouldn’t it be a pity if someone said that is a prayer, and that would be eliminated from schools, too?

How do we survive the post Barack-alypse (apocalypse) economy? How do we stop this communist from overturning and trampling our constitution? The last thing we have to worry about right now is nuclear Armageddon when we hard economic Armageddon happening right in from of us. How many people that support the Obama-care bill realized that it was going to have to be paid for with something?

Do you know how a successful magician works? Sleight of hand, he gets you looking one way and BOOM whatever he wanted to disappear has without you so much as catching a glimpse of it.

With all due respect Mr. President which part of the statement “Communism doesn’t work” do you not understand? Socialism does not work! The government is broken, so how in whatever Gods name you worship makes you think you can fix it by yourself?

Change people? You got it! Constitution being stripped right out from under you and you sit there saying to yourself “ Wow ain’t Obama be great” Again I say people “Wake the F**K up before it is too late” Vote your party, but vote the incumbent out. That means the guy that has the job already for the really stupid people out there.

Comparing Democrats to the insurgents. Are the Democrats purposely upsetting the proverbial apple cart in Washington? Are they the same as the insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan? I believe that they are! All indication is that they are subverting every effort that the Republican Party tries to do to bring together our government into a bipartisan coalition that can span the party lines. What purpose is being served with the parties sabotaging each other’s bills so that it suits the party but excludes the people that created and voted for it?

The government is supposed to serve the people, not itself. President Obama seems to have his own agenda for health care and damn the people that it is supposed to help. It is not an issue of having health care that you cannot afford and does nothing for you, but providing health care that is affordable and actually provides quality health care.

Talk to anyone that has to deal with military health care. The equipment is outdated, the care is often impersonal and waiting to get in is almost standard. We need to curb wasteful and overpriced health care COSTS and make it so that reasonable health care costs are paid 100%. If you dig deep into health care organizations there are people there that decide what percentage of a bill that is submitted to the insurance they will pay.

If you look at what is happening in Iraq and Afghanistan with the insurgents not allowing the new government to do it’s job and build a new country. A country of CHANGE as it would be. Our own government officials that we put into office are doing the same thing. Fighting amongst themselves over selfish ideologies that are outdated, illegal in some cases, or just plain childish.

So what exactly do we need to do? Speak up! Voice your opinion to your senator and congressperson. Express your displeasure by voting across party lines. My parents were staunch Democrats while I was growing up. Democrats are pro union and my father was a union worker with the local water company. There were a few discussions between us at time concerning this issue. I was in a union that negotiated a pay cut, incited a strike where most of the workers lost their jobs, and never recovered the lost wages from the strike. Hmm, makes perfectly good sense to be pro union, NOT! This is a topic for another day I don’t want to muddy the waters.

Democrats are spenders, Republicans are cost cutters. Republicans are for businesses. Democrats are for the workers. That sounds great on the surface, until you realize that if you subvert the businesses jobs go away. Communism sets rules for the people to all be equal, whether you do a good job or not. You work harder than the next guy; you still get paid the same, counterproductive at best. What is it going to take to get the two parties to work together? Who knows? I sure don’t. I will say that come November I will be voting whoever is in office out. If for no other reason to make a statement that the current situation is unacceptable.

FRUSTRATED CONSERVATIVES, PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO READ IN FULL

Doubtless, this post will be mocked and chided by Marxist Obama supporters giddy with the idea of the US finally being transformed into a gigantic, bankrupt version of Europe.

There is something that can be done, however.

NOW is a Very Good time to pick yourselves up and challenge Obama and his supporters until every news announcement comment thread is thick with calls for his citizenship records, because – and this is fact, not theory – if he is in fact technically ineligible to serve as President, THE CONSTITUTION ASSURES THAT EVERYTHING HE SIGNS WILL BE NULL AND VOID.

We need to speak up in the media until every (citizen) man, woman and child in America understands that Obama’s citizenship question and begin calling for those records, loudly.

His health care system will give government direct withdrawal access to every personal bank account in the United States, so you better hurry, unless you want that.

More than 40 people have sued Obama for his citizenship records, and he has FOUGHT THEM, What does he have to hide?? instead of turning the records over as every other president has done! Fact, not fiction. The court records are public documents.

A year and a half ago the Democrats demanded that McCain and Tom Delay to turn over their same records. THEY DID, and did so without fuss or bother. Go to you tube to see Tom Delay tell Chris Matthews all about it.
Both situations are public record. Compare the difference!!!

Obama’s lawyer’s responses do NOT say, “Here, let’s put this to rest, here are the records.” They say, “No, under no circumstances may you see them.” Smell political blood in the water? So do we.
For those who think this is a “fringe issue”, answer these questions..

1. Obama has fought over 30 lawsuits for his long form birth records, college records and the like. True or false? Back up you answer with fact.

2. His mother renounced American citizenship when she expatriated herself and Barack to Indonesia, thus losing “natural born” citizenship status forever, because once natural born status has been revoked, it can never be reinstated. True or false?, back up your answer with fact.)

3. His own grandmother recalls his birth in Kenya, true or false?

4. A year and a half ago the Democrats demanded that McCain and Tom Delay to turn over their same records. THEY DID, and did so without fuss or bother. True or false?

The only rule of this game: the responses to the questions comprised of, “Nobody cares”, “He already showed his citizenship documents” (Wrong, and nobody pays lawyers to fight something in court they have already conceded) and “He’s already the President, get over it” or the same Don’t count as real answers

Additionally:
Obama has (must have) a passport issued by a country other than the U.S. Long before he was President, Obama traveled to Pakistan during a period when travel to Pakistan was banned by the U.S. State Department. This is 100%, date and history cross-indexed So what country does his passport say he’s from? We don’t know because he won’t allow his lawyers to disclose it.
On a side note, Obama (aka Barry Soetoro) must have committed perjury when he signed his Illinois Bar application, which claimed that he had never used any name other than Barack Obama, even though he went by several different names, including Barry Soetoro. Fact. There is, essentially, no way around this one, yet there he sits as president.

Tell everyone you know that this is a real issue and explain why.
What is Obama sending his lawyers out to keep hidden? It’s time we all asked together in a very loud voice.

RIGHT NOW, PLEASE, THIS SECOND, before this insanity goes any further.

It appears that despite the general population’s dislike for the Health Care Bill that it was passed by a narrow margin by the House Dumicrats.  219-212 it does not get much closer than that.  I guess when he comes up for election in the 14th District he will be minus at least my vote.  Hopefully many more will take a long hard look at their Congress Person and make the decision to vote them out if they did not vote their way.

For those in the 4th District Jason Altmire was smart enough to listen to his constituents and vote no on the wording to the current bill.  I tip my hat to Congressman Almire for having the integrity to stand up for the people he represents!

I certainly hope that someone runs against Doyle that will be strong enough to oust him from office and make a statement that we “put you in office to speak for us not against us”.  If you don’t we will put you out!

I agree with this 110% even though I was not the original author.  if you like the country the way it is do nothing, if you don’t like it, you and only you can help change it.  you ask yourself “what can I as one person do?”  VOTE GOD BLESSED, VOTE!  Sitting on your butt is not going to inflict a change, only action will make change.  Rich

All I ask is that you consider the suggestion here.

The entire Congress of the United States is corrupt. And I mean both Houses and I mean both major parties.

I realize that a few Members of each House are trustworthy, but, as a group they are absolutely the most corrupt bunch  to ever disgrace our Nation.

In November of 2010 the entire House of Representatives will stand for re-election; all 435 of them.  One third of the Senate, a total of 33 of them, will also stand for re-election.  Vote every incumbent out.

And I mean every one of them.  No matter their Party affiliation.  Let’s start all over in the House of Representatives with 435 people who have absolutely no experience in running that body, with no political favors owed to anyone but their ownconstituents.  Let’s make them understand that  they work for us.

They are answerable to us and they simply have to run that body with some common sense.

Two years later, in 2012, vote the next third of the incumbents in the Senate out.

We can do the same thing in 2014 and, by that time we will have put all new people in that body as well.

We, the People, have got to take this Country back and we HAVE to do it peacefully.

That’s what the Framers of our Constitution envisioned.

I am also suggesting term limits on the  NEW BUNCH –8 YEARS FOR REPRESENTATIVES AND 12 YEARS OF SENATORS.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  THE LONGER THEY STAY IN OFFICE THE MORE POWER THEY GET AND THEY LOVE IT AND WILL DO ANYTHING TO GET RE-ELECTED.

WE HAVE TERM LIMITED THE PRESIDENT — NOW LET’S TERM  LIMIT THE LEGISLATORS.

This thing can permeate this Country in no time.  Let’s make it happen.**

We are well on our way to through another snow storm that has pretty much shut the city of Pittsburgh and the surrounding communities down. There are many cities that are in the same situation. After today this could be a record breaking month for snowfall amounts ever.

How many of you out there are asking yourself “where is the global warming they are talking about?”. I know I have. What are your thoughts on that? Is all this snow actually caused by the global warming like the movie “Day After Tomorrow”? Is this a way for the earth to heal itself after the abuse we throw at it day after day?
